Introduction:
The bidirectional shock tool is a drilling shock absorber used while drilling, installed close to the drill bit with silicone oil as its damping element. It can simultaneously mitigate or absorb both the axial vibration of the drill bit and drill string as well as torsional impact, enabling optimal coordination between weight on bit and rotational speed, thereby improving drilling efficiency. It is suitable for drilling operations in hard formations, gravel layers, and interbedded soft and hard formations.
Features and Benefits:
★ It is dampened with silicone oil, capable of absorbing both axial and torsional impacts simultaneously.
★ It optimizes WOB and RPM coordination for improved drilling efficiency.
★ Ideal for challenging conditions including hard formations and gravel layers.
